Food Truck Fridays
New this year just steps from the Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa, we are pleased to introduce a fun new concept for casual dining ... Food Truck Fridays! Every Friday (May 19 - Sept 1) between 3pm to 9 pm there will be one select food vendor on-site serving up tasty delights for an easy and casual dinner you can take back to your suite and enjoy. This summer will feature Burger 55, Winecrush Market's Pizza Wagon and Tacos del Norte.
Burger 55 is famous for gourmet burgers - customize your craving. They put the Okanagan on the map with the Food Network when featured on You Gotta Eat Here!
Winecrush Market, the winner of this year's Small Business BC Awards Best Business Concept , will be at Summerland Resort with the Winecrush Pizza Wagon on select Fridays. The Winecrush Pizza Wagon uses their signature Winecrush powder, made from the seeds and skins of Okanagan wine grapes, in the pizza dough. This results in a unique, thin-crust pizza topped with fresh seasonal vegetable, fruit and meat options, finished with seasonal greens and Winecrush sauce or vinegarette. Winecrush Pizza sells for $20 each and is amazing.
Tacos Del Norte will be serving up fresh and tasty Baja style tacos hand made with local ingredients. They use only locally made whole wheat or corn soft tortillas. Their organic cheese comes from Grand Forks. The guacamole, verde and roja salsas and hot sauce are all made in house. All meats are seasoned and slow cooked for flavour and tenderness
