Biking in Summerland

The District of Summerland and its surroundings are blessed with a variety of trails.  There are two major trail systems:  the Trans Canada Trails (TCT) and the Kettle Valley Rail (KVR) Trails.  Information kiosks are installed at the Faulder Trailhead in Faulder and at the Fenwick Trailhead in Summerland. The Summerland KVR Trail System stretches from Penticton through the Trout Creek valley and the Cascade Mountains to 1.5km east of Osprey Lake.  One of the most significant attractions is the Trout Creek trestle bridge which was the third-largest bridge of its kind in North America at the time of construction.
