Celebrate the Holidays at the Lake

Our team is busy dreaming up the fun and festive Christmas events for this year, but details aren’t ready to share just yet. In the meantime, here’s a look back at some of the celebrations we hosted in 2024 to spark a little inspiration:

  • Christmas Sips & Snacks Wine Pairing Event – Gourmet small plates paired with Okanagan wines and bubbles.
  • Waterfront Holiday Luncheon – A family-style holiday feast with festive drinks and warm company.
  • Spirit of Christmas Party – Book a private event for your group of 20 or more guests and enjoy a full turkey buffet, music, and holiday décor in our waterfront ballroom.

  • 115 suites, many of which offer balconies for lakefront views, fireplace, balcony
  • iKhaya Day Spa onsite for personal pampering
  • SWR Bistro - open daily
  • Shaugnessy's Cove, neighbouring restaurant & bar
  • Boardwalk and lakeshore pathway

Many groups have combined their holiday event with an overnight stay in our spacious suites — a perfect way to relax, extend the celebration, and enjoy lakefront views.

It's the little things that count, and we like taking care of them - things like super comfy pillow top beds, fully loaded kitchen amenities, in-room entertainment, and more.

The Suites

Delicious food and a fine selection of wines and beverages are a big part of any group gathering, especially with family. Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa partners with our own Chef Ashley at the SWR Bistro.

SWR Bistro menus offer a variety of options ranging from light and healthy fare to hearty and decadent. Catering menus are coming soon!
