Amongst the very best of Okanagan wedding venues, the Waterfront Ballroom boasts wall to wall windows and patio doors illuminating the room with plenty of natural light. Your guests will enjoy the walk out to a spacious patio and beachfront area to take in shimmering Okanagan Lake (not licensed). The Waterfront Ballroom’s rectangular footprint offers the flexibility to create a variety of floor plans to suit your style.

Tucked away on the south side of the Summerland Waterfront Resort is a well-manicured semi-private lawn that leads to part of our Okanagan Lake shoreline. The Beachfront Lawn is lined with tall cedar bush on one side and brilliantly purple lavender bushes on the other side. Offering the comfort of grass with the backdrop of the beach and lake this venue space is ideal for outdoor ceremonies. This space is available for ceremonies only.

The Barbecue Area

The Barbecue Area

Located at the north end of the Summerland Resort grounds, the barbecue area is a great spot for small and informal gatherings such as rehearsal dinners or for a night before the wedding day - a “Groom’s Grill & Chill”. Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa offers this venue space exclusively for up to 25 people with a catered meal.

Off Site Ceremonies

With so many wineries and stunning landscapes, the Summerland area offers an abundance of options for ceremonies to suit your style.

Summerland Ornamental Gardens
Located a few kilometres from the Resort offers a backdrop of stunning flowers and gardens for ceremonies and photo opportunities.

Kiwanis Pier
Just down the road from the Summerland Waterfront Resort, in the Kiwanis Park is a long dock that provides a great lakefront view.

Giants Head Mountain
At the top of the trailhead, accessible by road, is a picnic area that provides exceptional vistas of Summerland and Lake Okanagan

Trout Creek
Two kilometres to Sun Oka beach provincial parking area where you can enjoy the lakefront
