At 12:00 noon on New Year's Day, locals and visitors from far and wide will gather to run in and out of the frigid lake all in the name of community. Spectators are welcome as well. This year will be the 38th annual dip, sponsored by the Kinsmen Club of Summerland. It's the best way to plunge into 2023!
Attendance is by donation, and all proceeds will go to local families and community projects.
Post-dip, attendees can enjoy warm fires, hot dogs and hot chocolate. Penticton Search and Rescue will be on hand to help out.
