Play Time at The Resort

Go out for a spin on one of our complimentary cruiser bikes! Discover the shoreline of Okanagan Lake along Lakeshore Drive or tour the Lakeshore Path, a dedicated bike path, to Trout Creek. Bike rentals are available at the Front Desk on a first-come, first-serve basis and include helmet, bike-lock, maps and guides.

Water-babies and sun-worshippers, this is what it's all about. The main attraction at the Resort is the large outdoor heated pool and pool deck. For a soothing soak, the resort's two hot tubs are a favourite. The kids are sure to enjoy the beachfront area, perfectly sized for small children to play in the sand.

The Bistro is open!

The Waterfront Bistro is a great spot for grab-and-go breakfast and lunch, drinks, and snacks. It is open daily in the summer from 7 am to 3 pm and has modified hours after Labour Day until May.

Spa-ahh! Relaxation reigns at The iKhaya Day Spa, beside the Resort. Enjoy a therapeutic or pampering spa treatment or maybe a little esthetic service like a mani or pedi is a must.

By land or water, there are many ways to keep up your fitness regime at the Summerland Resort hotel. Enjoy the convenience and amenities of the Resort's Fitness Room or take in the local scenery with a run, walk or hike up Giant's Head Mountain. If you are water-bound, stand up paddleboarding and swimming are refreshing fitness alternatives.

Secured underground parking (clearance 6'6") is available to all hotel guests on a complimentary basis. Availability is limited to one vehicle per guest room. Oversized vehicles (taller than 6'6") are required to park in the nearby area at their own risk. (Yes, this is a photo of our lobby. Our parkade is great but just not photo-worthy)

Pack light! We've got a great collection of board games, DVDs, puzzles, bocce balls, sand toys, tennis and badminton racquets, binoculars, and more. These items are free for your use and available at the Front Desk.

Life is a beach, right? It couldn't be truer in Summerland and the Okanagan where beach time is a daily event! Just a short stroll from the Resort are some of the areas best beaches.

Let's do laundry on vacation, said no one ever, but sometimes it has got to be done. There are three public washers and dryers adjacent to the fitness room free for your use.

Located at the north end and south ends of the Resort grounds, the barbecue areas are here for your grilling convenience. Surrounded by green space looking out to Okanagan Lake, the barbecue areas are a great spot to prepare a summer meal. Kids need vacay time too! We've got their fun here with games, movies, pools and beaches,a nearby playground, boat rentals and more. This is the stuff vacation memories are made of.

Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa welcomes dogs as part of your family to our Okanagan dog-friendly resort. We offer designated dog friendly suites complete with dog amenities and a special treat. Daily charges apply and arrangements must be made before you arrive.

You haven't truly experienced summer in the Okanagan until you're out on the water. Take your fun to the water with SWR Boat Rentals. Located at the Resort, SWR Boat Rentals offers a fleet of quality watercraft including Sea-Doos, wake and ski boats, pontoon boats, Stand Up Paddleboards and kayaks. Open May long weekend to mid-September.

Sure to be one of the highlights of your stay at our Okanagan Resort is the many activities (most of them free) that go on in July and August. For adults, we have wine tastings, art workshops, live music, campfires and meet the artist sessions. The kids will love the daily Kids Activity program, as well as scavenger hunts, wide games, sandcastle challenges, s'mores and more.
