Donation & Sponsorship Requests

If you're working on something that matters to your community, you've come to the right place and we'd love to hear about it. We're an Okanagan resort with a big community heart, and we welcome requests from across British Columbia.

Open to incorporated non-profit societies and registered charities whose initiatives align with our community values and focus areas.

We love supporting initiatives that care for our community just like we do! To ensure we are a good fit, please review our eligibility criteria below before submitting your request.

Please note: due to the high volume of requests we receive, we are only able to reach out to organizations selected for funding.

What We Support

We give priority to requests that reflect one or more of the following:

Children and youth programs and events
Animal welfare initiatives
Medical and health-related causes

How We Give Back

We provide support in the form of hotel stay gift certificates, resort experiences and packages, and event sponsorships. We do not make cash donations.

Donation & Sponsorship Criteria

All requests must meet the following criteria to be considered:

Submit your request at least 4 to 6 weeks before your event or campaign date.
Your organization must be an incorporated non-profit society or registered charity.
If approved, you will be asked to acknowledge our support in ways that work for your event, including social media, signage, printed materials, and public mentions where applicable. Tag us at @summerlandresort on Instagram and @SummerlandResort on Facebook.
Requests are accepted through our online form only.

Who This Is Not For

We know this list is long. It exists so you can make an informed decision before investing time in an application.

Individual or personal requests
Political or religious organizations
Groups fundraising on behalf of another organization
Debt reduction, endowment, or membership campaigns
Professional solicitors or paid fundraising consultants
Any organization that discriminates on the basis of race, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, or physical ability
Initiatives outside our focus areas
