The SWR Boat Rentals team at Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa is calling your name!

Our happy guests are the best part of what we do. It's so much fun to rent a surf behind an elite speed boat or relax on an evening pontoon ride while enjoying the sunset.

Our team is searching for people who share our commitment to exceptional service. This is an opportunity to be part of a group of people who support each other in a positive and exciting environment. The dock attendant position requires days, swing shifts, and weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Guest Services

  • Ensure the delivery of services safely and securely
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery to guests
  • Conflict resolution and service recovery
  • Ensure a safe, organized work space

2. Dock Services

  • Perform watercraft check-ins and check-out; share saftey protocols with guests
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment after each check-out including life jackets
  • Fuel watercraft when required
  • Secure and store watercraft at the end of each day

3. Special projects as required

Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable of marina rules and regulations
  • Boating license
  • Ability to fuel-up watercraft
  • Integrity, strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Mature and polished personal presentation
  • Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time, move heavy items
  • A sincere desire to provide the best possible service to our guests, clients and customers
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative

Previous experience in a hospitality setting (or similar) is a definite asset, however, experience in a related field would be considered. We are happy to train people with great attitudes and people skills. Good wages, generous discount program and pretty awesome people. We pride ourselves on our team.
