Each department takes a unique, comprehensive approach to onboarding so everyone is fully trained and confident in their duties. For example, one of the training components used in the world of Housekeeping is 10 on the job buddy shifts. Plus, you can expect to get to know SWR as a whole during your resort wide orientation.
You may be an elligible candidate for more than one position at SWR. Based on your previous experience and skill set, we'll help you figure out the best role for you here.

It may take some time to accommodate a transfer request, but we do everything we can to connect and empower the right people with the position for which they're best suited. Passions, life experiences and previous work experience will aid in finding your perfect place on our team.
Many of our supervisors and managers started in an entry-level position among the front-line workers. These workers are valuable as they've grown in their passion to serve guests at SWR and have a wide range of experience in more than one position.
When a leadership position becomes available, you may have an opportunity to apply. If selected, our leadership recognizes that adequate training is necessary as you adopt a net of responsibilities. We hope to make the transition as smooth as possible.
