Spring break in Summerland is all about fun and new discoveries!
Is your family feeling a bit of cabin fever? Have you had enough of the same walls and same scenery during this pandemic season?Yep, we hear you! It's time to change it up. This article was written with you in mind.
You want to get away but hopping on a plane is out of the question and booking that cruise isn't on the horizon either. There are some pretty amazing places in your own province of British Columbia that are on your bucket list, right? For those of you who are done with winter and are looking forward to the arrival of spring, the south Okanagan is where it's at this spring break.

A great option for families who want to do their own thing by day, Hoodoo Adventures offers their Kid's Explorers Adventure Camp on the second week of Spring Break. This is perfect for the kids who want lots of activity and for the parents who want to head out on a wine tour, go on a Velo Vino Cycle Wine Tour, or just relax in their suite.

The creator culture, being a trending and popular retail pursuit of things hand-made by creative self-made people, isn't new to Summerland. We always like to say, you can as much as little as you like in Summerland. Whether you want to wake up slow and enjoy fresh coffee while lake-watching from your balcony or you want to hit the boardwalk for an invigorating morning run, it's your getaway.
Here are a few things you can do from the steps of the resort;
- Walk from the waterfront wetlands boardwalk along the lakeshore trail to Rotary Park (there's a dog park there too)
- Soak in the outdoor hot tubs
- Borrow a board game or pick up a craft kit from the front desk
