You know the feeling of a good drive escape. You pack the car on a Friday, follow the lake road into Summerland, and by the time your bags hit the floor of a lakefront suite, the week you left behind already feels far away.
We'd love to give you that same feeling in a second season, in a second place.
We've partnered with Tantalus Resort Lodge in Whistler, and staying with us now comes with something extra: 20% off your accommodations when you plan a Whistler getaway. It works both ways, too. Tantalus guests save 20% with us.
The Tantalus Lodge is a five-minute walk from Whistler Village and the gondolas.
You're close to everything, but far enough from the bustle to feel like you've got your own corner at the end of the day.
Every suite is over 900 square feet. For a mountain town, that's a lot of room, and it's the kind of space you can genuinely live in for a few days.
Each one has a traditional fireplace and one of the largest balconies in Whistler. Somewhere to warm up after a cold day, and somewhere to stand with your morning coffee and watch the mountains wake up.
That extra space is the difference between a trip everyone enjoys and a trip everyone just survives.
You already know the sauna and the hot tubs here at Summerland. Tantalus has two hot tubs and a dry sauna of its own.
Come in from the cold, get warm, slow down, and pour a glass of your favorite wine or drink.
The setting swaps a lake for a mountain, but the feeling is one you'll recognize right away.
We don't partner with just anyone. We went looking for a place that treats guests the way we do.
Tantalus is built for families and groups, and an easy drive from Vancouver, the same drive market so many of you come to us from.
And like us, it's more about the change of pace that comes with a change of scenery.
So if you're the kind of traveler who loves what we do here in Summerland, we're pretty confident you'll love what they do there.
Summerland is at its best when the days are long: the lake, the boardwalk, the hot tubs, s'mores down by the water. That's your summer exhale.
Whistler is at its best when the days turn cold: the snow, the village lights, the fireplace, and the hot tub after a day outside. That's your winter one.
Between the two, you've got somewhere to go in every season, with a familiar 20% waiting for you at both.
Book the summer with us, book the winter with them, then come back to us the following summer. One easy rhythm, no guesswork.
That's the real advantage of this partnership.
It isn't a one-time deal you have to put together on your own.
We've kept this simple on purpose.
As a Summerland guest, you save 20% on your accommodations at Tantalus Resort Lodge in Whistler.
When you arrive, a bottle of wine will also be waiting in your room for you.
To claim it, resort guests will receive an exclusive booking link and a 20% off code via email.
The 20% applies to your room rate, not to extras like dining or activities.
It's subject to availability at the time of booking, so the earlier you plan, the better your choice of dates and suites.
There's no minimum number of nights, and no long list of blackout dates to sort through.
And yes, it runs both directions.
Guests who stay at Tantalus save 20% here at Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa, the number-one-ranked resort of 159 in the Okanagan.
So when you tell a Whistler-loving friend about us, you're sending them somewhere they'll be looked after, too.
If you've been meaning to plan a Whistler trip, here's your reason and your rate: spacious suites, hot tubs and a sauna, the village five minutes away, and 20% off simply for being one of our guests.
Plan your Whistler stay with the partner link and rate code you'll receive via email as a past guest.
And when the lake starts calling again, you'll know exactly where to find us.
Book your next Summerland escape here, and keep the partner link handy for winter.
