For Kids

In the summer months, SWR Experiences welcomes families for fun activities every day! From soccer games to sand castle-building contests and scavenger hunts, there's bound to be something your crew will enjoy together. Check it out here.

We've got a great collection of board games, DVDs, puzzles, bocce balls, sand toys, tennis and badminton racquets, binoculars, and more. These items are free for your use and available at the Front Desk.

Splish splash in the pool from April to October. In the cooler months, our two hot tubs are great for soaking.

Within a walk

• Summerland Trout Hatchery, right beside the Resort, is a fantastic spot
  to bring curious children to learn about how fish are hatched, raised,
  and released to the lakes in BC.
• Beaches, splash park and playground, all located within a short walk of the Resort. Just take the lakeshore path to Peach Orchard Park.
  
• Summerland Racquet Club, a short stroll from the Resort, offers free access for Summerland Resort guests.
  
• Summerland Sailing Association, south of the Resort, offers a series of Learn to Sail classes for youth in the summer months.

• Kettle Valley Steam Train, Summerland's own heritage railway train, that runs during the summer and holiday weekends.
• ZipZone Adventure Park, just 15 minutes up the road in Peachland. It's fun and exhilaration for everyone.
