Wildfire Evacuation

We are grateful to our team and to so many who helped during the wildfire evacuation order on the evening of Friday, August 7th, and to our community in this challenging time.

The Resort is Closed

The resort is within the evacuation area and remains closed to guests. 

All reservations have been canceled through September 3, 2026. 
Details on refunds and rescheduling are below.

The District of Summerland has issued an exception allowing a small number of our team members to return to the resort to assist in accommodating personnel responding to the wildfire.  Accommodating the people doing that work is the most useful thing we can do right now. 

The sooner they can do their work, the sooner all of us get to come home.

Once the evacuation order is lifted, we will endeavour to resume hotel operations.

We understand that many of you have upcoming stays and are looking for answers. 

Please know that no one will be penalized for changes related to this evacuation. 

Here is what you need to know right now:

• All reservations during the closure period will be honoured - either through a full refund or a rescheduled stay at your preference.
• If you booked through a third-party platform (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.), please contact them directly as the Resort is unable to adjust any 3rd party bookings.
• If you booked directly with us, we will be in touch as soon as our team is able to. Please note that you will not lose your deposit.
• Gift certificates and gift cards will remain valid and fully honoured when we reopen.
