We're excited to have you join us for your upcoming stay at Summerland Waterfront Resort! As part of our commitment to maintaining a pristine environment for your enjoyment, we want to inform you about our spring cleaning initiatives scheduled throughout the month of April 2024.
Please be advised that resort maintenance activities are spread out as much as possible and schedule changes can depend on weather, staff and guest occupancy.
What to Expect:
During your stay, you may notice our dedicated team bustling around the property, conducting various tasks to ensure everything sparkles and shines. These activities include:
- Valve installations: our team may need to access your room for 15 minutes
- Exterior Window Washing: the crew will be making their way around the entire property, providing clear views of our beautiful lake.
- Pool Maintenance: Our pool is scheduled to open on Friday, April 19. Until then, our maintenance crew will be hard at work ensuring it's in top-notch condition for your enjoyment.
- Insect prevention program: We partner with Orkin Canada every year to keep a bug-free property. Please remove personal items from patios and allow the treatment to sit for a full 30 minutes before occupying the space. Once dry, this treatment is safe for humans and animals
- General Cleaning: From common areas to guest rooms, we'll be conducting thorough cleaning sessions to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Questions You May Have:
- What amenities are open? Both hot tubs are open and available for use from 7 am to 11 pm. All pathways, common spaces, and the suites as you know them are open. The pool will be up and running on April 19 and will close for the season on October 1, 2024.
- What about on site dining? The Bistro and Shaughnessy's Cove are open and operating as normal. Come on in to the Bistro next to the Lobby from 7 am to 1 pm every day for coffee, delicious breakfast smoothies and more. Dine at Shaughnessy's and enjoy the beautiful weather on their lakeside patio.
- Why is this necessary? Is something wrong? Absolutely not. The projects listed here are all part of our yearly upkeep program to keep this resort in tip-top shape and comfortable for all our guests.
