Unlike tiny mountain-top condos, our spacious suites offer plenty of room to organize your snow pants, boots and all your gear without feeling cramped. Each suite features a full kitchen, which is a game-changer for families and couples; you can prep your mountain snacks and lunches the night before, so you're ready to head out as soon as the sun comes up.
To keep your morning move even smoother, all guests can take advantage of our complimentary secure underground parking. You can rest easy knowing your skis and snowboards are locked away and protected from the elements. Plus, your vehicle will be warm and ready ot hit the road for your ski day.
The real reason to stay at the lake is the recovery. Apex Mountain is famous for its light, dry snow, but sleeping at that altitude can be restless. By returning to the shoreline in Summerland, you are sleeping at a lower elevation where the air is richer. This "altitude hack" helps your muscles repair faster and ensures you wake up with the energy needed to tackle the mountain all over again.

Is the drive to the mountain difficult? The road to Apex is a paved, high-priority route that is plowed frequently. It is a scenic 50-minute climb that offers a perfect mental "reset" as you move from the lake to the peaks.
What if I want to ski more than one day? We recommend it! Use your package ticket for your first day, and call us to add a second day's ticket to your reservation at a discount. We'll email it to you so you can head straight back to the lifts.
