Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa offers FIT clients a genuinely different Canadian experience. One that is unhurried, authentic, and grounded in a landscape that surprises people who didn't know to look for it.

Every room at Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa is a suite.
For FIT clients who spend multiple nights or move between destinations over several weeks, the difference between a hotel room and a fully equipped suite is significant.
Each suite includes a full gourmet kitchen, a separate living area with a fireplace, a private balcony with lake or vineyard views, and complimentary laundry access.
Guests can unpack, self-cater, and settle in rather than simply pass through.
Three configurations are available to meet your clients' needs:
- Our Studio Suite is designed for solo travelers or couples and includes everything you need in one spacious room.
- The One Bedroom Suite is for those who want a dedicated bedroom, a separate living area, and a kitchen.
- The Two Bedroom Suite offers two private bedrooms with enough space for time together and a setup for great sleep when traveling together or for small families.

Summerland Waterfront Resort & Spa sits on a secluded stretch of Okanagan Lake shoreline, surrounded by a one-acre wetland nature preserve and boardwalk.
For FIT clients, it offers a genuine change of pace: active when they want it, restorative when they need it.
On the water, guests have access to paddleboards, canoes, and kayaks, plus an outdoor pool and two hot tubs overlooking the lake.
Complimentary bicycles make it easy to explore the lakefront and town. For wellness, iKhaya Day Spa is available on-site and can be booked in advance.
Dining is steps away at the SWR Bistro serving breakfast, snacks, fresh baked goods, specialty coffee, drinks, and lunch. Next door at Shaughnessy's Cove guests enjoy waterfront patio dining directly on the lake for lunch, happy hour, and dinner.
Complimentary Wi-Fi, underground parking, fitness centre, and free laundry access ensure FIT clients feel settled and independent throughout their stay.
The Okanagan has a rhythm that's tied to the land. For FIT operators, these two windows offer the most distinct and sellable experiences the valley produces.

Few international visitors know to time their visit for spring, which is precisely what makes it so special.
Fruit trees across the valley floor come into bloom (cherry, peach, apple, and apricot), and the hillside vineyards wake up alongside them. It's one of the most visually striking seasonal displays in Canada, and an experience your clients will have almost entirely to themselves.
- Cycling through orchards and vineyard roads in full bloom
- Early winery openings and cellar door tastings
- Farm-gate fruit stands begin the season
- Kettle Valley Railway heritage rail experience through orchard country
- Hiking local trails with valley and lake views
- Water sports on Okanagan Lake (paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking)

This is the Okanagan at its most abundant. Harvest season brings crush at the wineries, festivals across the valley, and fruit stands overflowing with the season's yield. For wine-focused FIT clients in particular, there is no better time to be here.
- Winery tours and harvest festivals throughout the valley
- Grape crush experiences at local wineries
- Farm stands at peak abundance (tree fruit, preserves, local produce)
- Cycling the vineyard and orchard roads at their most vivid
- Kettle Valley Railway heritage rail experience
- Hiking and lake walks as the valley colours turn
- Jet skiing, paddleboarding, and water sports while the lake is still warm

We work with local partners to shape meaningful moments: private tastings, enjoyable hikes, and wellness escapes that reflect the valley’s rhythm. Each experience connects visitors to the land and people who make this region thrive.
For your guests, these are the stories they’ll take home.
The harvest aroma, the still lake mornings, and the calm pride of discovering a quieter side of Canada.
It's truly an amazing destination.
